    hi friends,
    this is done with chalk powder mixture and oil paints on the canvas for an old good frame.

    covered the old frame back plank with canvas and did this.hope u all like this

    If you don't mind can you explain how you arrived at the cloth texture.. it is so real.. I want to feel that cloth!

    Beautifully done Nimurthy you have given nice shading nrat the folds of the cloth. theshading has given depth to the rock and the pot . The face has also come out well

    Thanks a lot,its just the shading with oil colours,that is the reason why i love to paint oils....they r great.

    By shading, do you mean the highlights? PERFECT work, Nimurty.
    Since you mentioned chalk powder, I thought it was some diff technique.
    Also did you put chamki on the cloth? or is that too painting effect?
