Varalakshmi Pooja Procedure

If you can't do it on that Friday do it on the next. If you re not to do it due to some other reason you just offer coconut,betel and fruits and tie the saradu. If you should not do it due to mourning you are allowed to join your relative or friend in the Pooja and tie the saradu. I know of few who take the mugam to others place.

 

I don't know why but in my MILs place my MILs mother was doing it and so her DIL. But my MIL does not do this... So which tradition should I follow???

 

you should follow your mil's tradition.

you can still do lakshmi pooja.
