My bank doesn’t care whether I go on vacation or not. They just want to see the mortgage paid.

 

It’s the same with rent, isn’t it? Your landlord expects you to fulfill your obligation regardless of where you choose to live. Where do you put your things if you don’t want to pay rent? You will have to pay to move, for storage, to break a lease if you have a contract, fees to sign a new lease and compete if you live in a tight rental market. I don’t know anyone who is willing to undergo such hassle once they cross the lean college and grad school days.

 

Nope nothing changes. You pay rent for 4 months. may be you pay less for utilities due to usage.

you want to save money. Break the lease. Put all your stuff in storage house and go. no other shortcuts.

 

You can stop your cable, phone and internet service. If you’re not using electricity, heat and water your bill will be very low anyways. If you live in an apartment you have to follow the policy for utilities. If you are renting an individual house check your contract and with your landlord.

 

turn off internet . come back. Apply new internet with new free stuff . all providers are competitive . electricity and gas is linked to Apartment lease cannot do much. do not get into trouble with some cancellation accounts

honestly this is standard stuff. have a talk at home. plan .
