URGENT!!!!plzzz reply,,CARSEAT/BASSINET SEAT????????????????

Hi, ladies,,

i am going to india with my 9 month old LO..my husband booked seat for her but she is suppose to sit in carseat:spinshe doesnt even sit for 2-3 hr she becomes red and wants to runaway??

unfortunately all bassinet seats are booked what should i do???

cancel her seat and keep in my and my dh's lap..
coz i think carseat is bad idea??(while coming back im alone)

plz give me ur valuable suggestion since ur all experienced moms..

Hi,
Flights do not allow babies to sit in car seats.only bassinets.while take off and landing, the baby is supposed to be in th lap strapped in belt ties from the adult's belt.Not getting a bassinet is an inconvenience,but not a major problem.Its upto you to decide,on how well you can handle.

Hello,
I have travelled with my LO who was around the same age and didnt get bassinet while going. I didnt put her in carseat, just kept her in my lap. I travelled alone only and was able to manage. dont worry you will be fine

Little ones that age usually fall asleep as soon as the plane gets going. That has been my observation. Only thing is in landing if her ears don't readjust she might scream but you will have to take care of getting them adjusted.

CARSEAT CAN IT HURT HER NECK,BACK OR BODY..???like in bassinet she could stretch her back...??
that is what i am worrying..about!!
supriyadinesh which airline are u refrring to??unfortunately continental allows carseat
and then it is placed on seat and strapped..

aparram that is what im thinking if she will be on my lap then why did i reserve seat paid1200$$ and bulky carseat have to pick it up with carry ones..

tahidelek i will be so damn happy if she sleeps like a baby!!!
