    Is there anybody know about the turmeric root which is used for kanu pongal.Is it available in chicago,IL area.

    hi giriraj,

    i have seen it in some indian shops in the vegetables section. if u have heard of bombay bazaar in downers grove give them a call and find out, once i have seen it in their shop.
    i have purchased once from ambica in the army trail road.
