    Hi love84

Even I have pcos and trying to get pregnant for the past 2 years. After coming from india I gave a gap of three months to try naturally, but no success. Last month I scheduled appointment to see PCOS specialist in Miami. He gave me clomid from day 3 to 5 and asked to check for ovulation using the kit. My insurance (United health care) covers only 90% of doctor’s fee n medicine bill. I’m not sure about the rest.

Lots n lots of baby dust to all, including me.

I am very much worried. Alraedy i consulted with two doctors whio has diagonised and gave tablets for ovulation and other things.

    hi harshu09,
Even I have been adviced to take chrominac-a and i have been taking it since 2 months now. Along with this, a muli vitamin tablet - xfert-f has also been adviced to me.

I was diagonsied of PCOS since 2 years back. It was diagonsied by an ultrasound test and confirmed by a hormone test where my LH level was too high than normal. (I was always under-weight 40kgs. but for past 2 year, although my weight is normal (45kgs), sadly, seems like all of it is bad fat around my waist :(. ). I had to undergo ovarian drilling last year as clomids didn't help me much. After this, i got conceived with IUI but the luck did not last long. It was aborted in 8th week.

Now after a break of one year, my new doctor has put me on chorminac-a and multivitamin. I think this has helped me respond nicely to clomid for 2 cycles now.

As far as chorminac-a is concerned, i got a positive feedback from another doctor who thinks it is just another nutrient/vitamin supplement that helps body to utlize glucose effectively. so i feel safe taking it.

And from the past 2 years, i have learnt that Diet is the most important thing that we should take care of to fight PCOS and to withstand side effects of all the medicines we take. Since I am not an expert, cant suggest of the diet process clearly. All i can say is what i have been doing. I have quit packed food completely, stick to natural foods.. eat lots of fruits and vegetables.. and do regular excerise.
