    Hi Dear ILites,
Am planning to travel to India by mid of February.
I have a HP Pavillion Laptop which am planning to take along with me.
But i fear about using converters for the power cord in India.
I would like to know experiences of our ILites in this case.
Is there anything we can buy here (power cord with Indian Plug)?
    Thanks in advance..........

    Dear Shanta,

Check your lap top Power pack. The Black box like thing attached to the power cord, will have info abotu the volatage it can support. if it says, 110 to 220V, then you do not have anything worry. Just take your laptop and plug it in in India. These days you do not have to carry the plug adaptor also. It is available in any electrical shop in India.

I went this past summer and did not have a problem. Most Laptops support universal voltage. I have a compaq presario.
