    Today the pushya bagula panchami day is the
    memory day of st.Thyagaraja.


    In thiruvayaru (a town in Thanjavoor, Tamil Nadu)
    musicians join together and sung Thyagayya's
    famous Pancha Rathna keerthanass.

    I solicite my pranams to this musical legend.

    yes thanks for the info... may many more souls enjoy the songs of s.Thyagaraja.. the marghazi utsavams in chennai sabhas would be so nice to hear..
