Thumb sucking of 11 months old

hi all

My 10 month old son is also putting thumb in mouth, not during sleep nor while he plays.
Me and my MIL tried a lot by wearing mittens or slowly remove his thumb whenever possible. But all went in vain.

Now he has 2 teeth and am worried if he continues, will it be possible for him to give up this habit :hide:
Added to my worry, my MIL scares me by telling that her niece still do put thumb while sleeping and believe, she's doing her graduation :spin

Hey all

My 6 mo old sucks her thumb. She started it when she was 3 months old. Initially it was only for sleeping, but these days it is slowly increasing ... if she does not have something in her hand, she starts sucking her thumb... I am ok if she does it when sleeping ....
can you tell me how to engage her otherwise ....
