Wherever I would go

I was eager to meet and greet people
And lend them a generous, helping hand

When the world was a nice place
It was ready for adventure
To try new things and
Explore at your own pace

I want to go back to my safe place
But my safe place is not more
It is a hollowed out grave
That looks like a looted store

I want to go back to my safe place
But it is filled with traps
It is a mirage that will ensnare you
And you will have difficulty
Turning back
