Hi, My friend got married recently. Her Thirumangalyam/Mangalsutra got broken when she was sleeping. i.e., joint was not proper, so it got removed. She got scared and she is disturbed mentally.... She's thinking whether any bad things will happen. Kindly reply your views dear friends.
Hi Deepa, Tell your friend that there is nothing to worry about. It's a mere accident. Tell her to pray to Devi. Absolutely nothing to worry. It could be because of poor workmanship of the goldsmith. If still she is not satisfied, then she can read Devi Bhagavatham in story mode or if her mother toungue is tamil, then the shorter version of the bhagavatam called devi padam is available in all giri trader stores. She can read that daily or atleast on Tuesday and Friday. Aadi month is nearing, she can chose the firiday and offer mavilaku to devi and chant the slokas. Nothing untoward will happen. Such events are not uncommon and are purely accidental. If at all anything is to happen, it would be because some body intentionally did it. Please ask your friend to get it repaired properly and get on with her life. Arunadhri
