    Here is a girl, who is as much educated as you are;
    Who is earning almost as much as you do;
    One, who has dreams and aspirations just as you have because she is as human as you are;
    One, who has never entered the kitchen in her life just like you or your Sister haven't, as she was busy in studies and competing in a system that gives no special concession to girls for their culinary achievements.
    One, who has lived and loved her parents & brothers & sisters, almost as much as you do for 20-25 years of her life;
    One, who has bravely agreed to leave behind all that, her home, people who love her, to adopt your home, your family, your ways and even your family name
    One, who is somehow expected to be a master-chef from day #1, while you sleep oblivious to her predicament in her new circumstances, environment and that kitchen.
    One, who is expected to make the tea, first thing in the morning and cook food at the end of the day, even if she is as tired as you are, maybe more, and yet never ever expected to complain; to be a servant, a cook, a mother, a wife, even if she doesn't want to; and is learning just like you are as to what you want from her; and is clumsy and sloppy at times and knows that you won't like it if she is too demanding, or if she learns faster than you;
    One, who has her own set of friends, and that includes boys and even men at her workplace too, those, who she knows from school days and yet is willing to put all that on the back-burners to avoid your irrational jealousy, unnecessary competition and your inherent insecurities;
    "Yes, she can drink and dance just as well as you can, but won't, simply because you won't like it, even though you say otherwise."
    "One, who can be late from work once in a while when deadlines, just like yours, are to be met;
    One, who is doing her level best and wants to make this most important relationship in her entire life a grand success, if you just help her and trust her;
    One, who just wants one thing from you, as you are the only one she knows in your entire house - your unstinted support, your sensitivities and most importantly - your understanding, or love, if you may call it."

    But many guys don't understand this...........

    But I request all of you to treat a Woman who is ur wife as your life partner or companion or part of ur family who is having all the rights and responsibilities as you and not as a servant of u and ur family only to obey your orders..

    Hello, cheerful evening!

    A very well knitted poem. Par beyond words of excellence is the idea behind the theme.

    Yes, absolutely true. All are same under the eyes of god. The inequalities arose because of human negligence and ignorance. Women of today are multi-faceted and plunge into any kind of field with total involvement and confidence. What they need is the moral support and soothing words from their own family members in order to keep their pace ahead.

    They equally take an active role at home. They are really to be praised for their mental stamina to balance duty at home and work place.

    Hi,

    Very well said. If all the men and their families understood this then this world would be a heaven.

    No matter what we say/cry, these men and their families expectations are beyond limit. (there may be few exceptions for the lucky ones!!).

    Our dear Shv....

    The art of simplicity is a puzzle of complexity.

    The more we poke our noses in to others privacy will always results in unsavoury moments of Life.

    The More we are accommadative and understanding the other, irrespective of the gender, we are poised to feel the elated pleasures of a well deserved family.

    Today's Women or Men are Equal.
    To say in other words.....How we look in to them.
    To me and my personal view about a women on our life or in a society are :

    We agree that God has given the wonderful gift to mankind in the name of women.
    They are so dedicated, caring and affectionate to the near and dear.
    They can change the other with proper care and love to see that the other respond.
    They are known for selfless sacrifices and ever helping.
    They undergo lot's of ordeals and obstacles in life, still they donot expose their difficulties and act as a becon to the other.
    We have seen lot's of women whose contributions to society
    As our purana's & epics shown us the power of women in the form of Shakthi & the guardian of worldly things for the good.

    They are God's Gift and when we have the proper understanding and care for mutual trust, life is wonderful, but the pity that many view them as symbol of sex.

    Throughout the world, throughout history, in whatever society, man has put woman down because of his superior physical strength.
    So we can say the physical has dominated.

    That is why man has not transformed. This is humanity’s greatest blunder.

    Woman has the intuition and she must be the teacher.
    But throughout history, in whatever culture, you find men are the teachers.
    So something has fundamentally gone wrong.
    If women were to lead spiritually, the world would be transformed.
    So men must learn to follow the woman.

    So attitudes toward women must change.

    The truth is that if you treat a woman like a spiritual teacher, she becomes that.
    In fact, whatever you treat a woman like, she becomes.
    Her behavior depends on how you treat her.

    Treat a man with all respect and love, and he won’t change an iota.

    Give that same respect to a woman and she will transform.

    Men have physical strength, while women have the mental/emotional strength.
    That’s actually why women live longer; their strength is more of the essence. Change in the very structure of our society has to occur.
    Today you look at any advertising—from razor blades, coffee, alcohol—a woman is always present to associate the sensual with the product, even men’s products.
    So women are constantly fed with this erroneous self-image.
    So man has pulled the woman down and fallen with her.

    Woman must be redeemed from her traditional role as a mere housewife, laborer, secretary. Man has to look after her.
    He has to put her up on a pedestal and make her his Guru.

    Here in India, we do have the tradition that the woman is spiritual, so men do get the point.
    Unless man brings about a transformation in the psyche of the woman by putting her on a pedestal and suppressing his male arrogance, there is no hope for mankind. I am quite clear about that.
    Women are our assets and it's we to think, how to preserve it.
