If there was one country/city that you want to visit atleast once in your lifetime, what would it be and why?
My Batchmate in engg settled in New Zealand. We chat almost daily via WhatsApp. NZ is very peaceful and the political climate too reported to br good. I wish to go with my spouse and spend a week or two in Wellington and travel in cable car and play topsy turvy. I checked for more info in the link Top 10 Most Peaceful Countries In The World - Forbes India For other countries that one can visit where life is peaceful. At age 80+ I don't like to be amidst crowded NY station and wish to be swamy from cacophony. Lots of indians settled in NZ.
There are many in ndia and abroad both..in india..i m dying to visit kashmir and abroad europe esp Switzerland.
There are places where one would be taken into deep sea and can watch sitting in the cage watch marine life. I think it is in Auz too. Any one tried this describe their experience here. In UT puducheri aka pondicherry - India - one can enjoy scuba diving. It would be enjoyment of watching numerous marine lives populated under a depth of 40 feet. one can also watch beautiful movement of colourful spectacle of groups of fishes darting and u turning and other marine animals moving lazily or remaining static. Besides there would be coral reefs to explore. One can also hire camera for a small amount and take underwater photographs of family and friends under the sea and of wide range of corals, lion fish, kingfish, eels, eagle, manta rays, parrot fish, sea snakes, triggerfish, butterflies, angels, banner fish, crustaceans...... and if you're lucky, even sharks, whale sharks, turtles and dolphins!
We went in a glass bottom boat in Key Largo near Miami long time back. It was unique. We step inside the boat through downstairs and we watched coral reef and a variety of fish life etc. etc. OH, I am nostalgic.
@Thyagarajan sir, you should take your wife and go to New Zealand and spend a peaceful vacation there when you are able to!!
Wow sounds so serene. I have seen California, New York, Houston, Colorado and Florida in US. I'm yet to explore the rest of this huge country
I want to visit parts of north western, central, Kashmir and north eastern India before I even think of exploring the rest of the world. Till I was in India, Eurotrip was my ultimate dream but now I feel like there's so much to see and do in India culturally and historically. India is steeped in culture and history. I'd love to spend a few months exploring the states/cities I missed out on when I lived there.
