My elder daughter loves drawing and writing stories. She has just recently promoted into class 2. She got the 1st prize for regular attendance. Here is one of her drwaings that I would like to share with you. Plesse note that I have blurred the surname.

Drawing a line exactly in the middle, this drawing can be turned into a puzzle of "find at least 6 differences between the right and left image "

Thanks for your nice comment. The funny thing is that her younger sister, who is 5 years old, won the first prize in a competition. But, Tinni, despite drawing far better than her could win only a third prize so far.

May be Tinni hadn't finished her work on time. I think she took long time for accuracy and I gave her first prize for her picture perfect drawing.

Mr. T, good you mentioned that the white square is a blurred out portion. I thought one of the two friendly lions brought a tissue to the playdate.

Lovely drawing. To draw a front facing animal is challenging. This drawing has that and the expressions in the eyes of the lions literally beg for a Caption This contest. It can be taken as anything. The lions could be thinking about the future, recalling the past, planning for the next hour, rolling their eyes at something, or have a game going of "who will blink first."

Felt happy to see such an innocent painting. Very talented piece of work by the young lady. Congratulations!

The line where the sky meets the ground, the magenta border, and the whole painting brought back many memories of art classes and weekends spent drawing and painting when my kids were that age.

Do share more work by your DD's.
