This is the second day I have tried turmeric milk before sleep. Heard that it has calming effects, and improves one's health. First night: Had a teaspoon of turmeric with a teaspoon of honey, mixed in 6oz of milk. That stuff was bitter!!! Second night: Had 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric with 2 tablespoons of honey, mixed in 6oz of milk. That stuff was so sweet, I thought I'd get diabetes!!!!!!!! Tonight, will halve the amount of honey and add some other spices, perhaps chopped ginger. One thing I noticed, this turmeric milk helped me to sleep easily. Usually, I wake up if someone drops a pin in another room, but last night, there was a Mariachi Band playing in my living room, and I was able to ignore it and sleep relatively quickly ;-) Just wanted to say thank goodness for Turmeric!
