    Dear Il'ites,
    It is Teacher's Day to-day. I would like to dedicate this day to all the teachers, while I cherish fond memories of my school days.
    We will pray to the Lord Almighty to bless the entire Teacher fraternity.

    dr radhakrishnan
    felt that
    something should be done
    to teaching fraternity
    to help them in their hard work
    building citizens of tomorrow
    he felt that they were not being
    treated properly....
    and so they made his birthday
    teachers day
    a teacher became president ..Dr radhakrishnan
    a president becomes a teacher...Dr. APJ kalam today...!

    Thank you UshaKrishnan for reminding the teacher's day. While in India I used to take presents to my teachers on this day, here I am not in a position to do so.

    Through this forum and site, I extend my warm felicitations and wishes for their health and prosperity.

    None other than our former President Abdul Kalam has glorified his teachers and used to remember them in all occassions.

    Being a son and brother of teachers myself I wish all teachers in India a very happy, healthy and prosperous life.
