நமது முன்னோர்கள் வாழ்க்கையை ஆண்டு அனுபவித்து அதன் மூலம் பெற்ற பட்டறிவைப் பழமொழிகளாகத் தொகுத்துள்ளனர். அவற்றில் எனக்குத் தெரிந்தவற்றை உங்களுடன் பகிர்ந்து கொள்ள விரும்புகிறேன்.நான் ஏறக் குறைய 500 பழமொழிகள் தொகுத்து வைத்துள்ளேன். நீங்களும் இதில் பங்கு பெறலாம்.கூடியவரை அகர வரிசையைப் பின்பற்றலாம்.
1.அகத்தின் அழகு முகத்தில் தெரியும்.
2.அகல உழுவதை ஆழ உழு.
3.அஞ்சு வந்தாலும் அவசரம் ஆகாது, பத்து வந்தாலும் பதட்டம் ஆகாது.
4.அஞ்சும் மூணும் அடுக்கா இருந்தால் அறியாப் பொண்ணு கறியாக்குவா.
5.அத்தைக்கு மீசை முளைத்தால் சித்தப்பா.
6.அப்பம் தட்டிக் கூழாச்சு ஆத்து பிராமணா கதவைத் திற என்றாளாம்.
7.அப்பனுக்குப் பிள்ளை தப்பாமல் பிறந்திருக்கிறான்.
8.அப்பாரிட்ட கப்பறை ஆணியிலே.
9.அம்மியும் குழவியும் ஆகாசத்திலே பறக்கும்போது இலவம் பஞ்சு எனக்கென்ன கதி என்றதாம்.
10. அமாவாசைச் சோறு என்றைக்கும் கிடைக்குமா?

Thank you for the interest you are showing in our culture and happy to know that you enjoyed reading the proverbs. These are age old problems transfered orally from generation to generation. But now many people had compiled them. In villages people know more proverbs connected with farming and day to day happenings.
