    Hi Suji

Nice post. Could understand your frustration! All of us meet such people in our lives.
I have used both and have to admit that the mixie does do a better job for indian chutneys but, hey, its not like the blenders do a bad job either.
I used the blender for a good 5 years before I switched to mixie.

But Milk cooker?!!! who uses milk cooker? We can drink the milk straight out of the can isn't it. Even in India now, its pasteurized. And there is microwave.
Oh well...Its just that there are personalities who can boast about anything in life...You will learn to ignore in a few years...

Goodluck to you adding a milk cooker to your collection! :)

    Hi Sujimallige
Just like your name, a sweet, fragrant post ! A wonderful , amusing report of a scene often encountered, not just abroad, but here too. It always surprises me why people would want to clutter up their kitchens with every utensil and gadget available in market. Not just that, just like you say, they also take great pleasure in showing off their collection and making comments to the effect that whoever does not possess such and such item is a"waste product"! Strange people !
( P.S. So did you finally buy a milk cooker or not :biggrin2:?)
    :thumbsup

    Dear Suji,

A nice post. Hahaha, feeling proud on owning a mixie. I guess I should also feel on top of a world now. Few people will never improve.

A very nice write up, it made me laugh.
