Surrender

Surrender requires defeat of ego (aham), toning and tuning of mind. This takes more than a lifetime to achieve; it can never be escapism.

First time heard about this prayer and found the meaning too. It is one of my everyday prayers from now on.

 

Kaayena vaacha manasendhiyeva bhudhyathmanava
prakruthe swabhavath karomi yesyath sakalam
parasmai narayanayethi samarpayami.

Above is my last chant after chanting everyday usual prayer.
Thanks for the spiritual poem. I read the importance of surrender
but we forget it when we are in stress. It is a good remainder.
Constant remainder is also needed to keep going and without
forgetting the almighty.
Surrender is not escapism, it is doing our part to our best and
leaving the rest to God. Mahatma Gandhi also had his surgery
without anesthesia, I have read somewhere.

True. Acceptance takes time... a lot of time. Only a few humble souls live that way. I am learning Acceptance from those few I know.
