Even they say On tuesdays and Fridays we should never give money to anybody (as lakshmi will go away) and even you should not sweep the house at evening after switchin on the lights...
Hi all Regarding washing Hair, i wud like to add a few more things.... like Manisha said its not good to wash hair or clothes on thursday, as its not good for brothers... I follow that too, but in addition to that, one should also not wash Hair on tuesdays as it is not good for husbands... and one should not wash hair on Saturdays, as it delays marriage for the unmarried girls.... I dont believe much in the saturday one... but I do strictly follow the tuesdays and thursdays... ~Abha
We have a few here as well. - never take chillies from anyone for free. - Always give and receive with your right hand I once heard a talk where they explained that the reason for not sweeping at night: apparently in the olden days when there was no lights,people used to keep their valuable under the mats etc. Thats why they should not sweep at night incase they mistakenly swept it away. Can someone tell me if this could be true.
If we are starting to some place or some thing if somebody sneezes usually people take a glass of water and washing their feet and face do the work again. sounds some what crazy......
