    Hi folks,

    One basic doubt -:confused2:- if we apply sunscreen & go out, are we protected for the entire day out in the sun ???
    I'm assuming that we have to re-apply them again , while we are outside in the sun . How long after the first application, should we apply again ? Does it depend on the 'number' say, SPF 50 --- does it mean we reapply every 50 mins. ?

    Grace3,SPF is sun protecttion factor.the higher the number ,the better.it has to be reapplied 2-3 hours.1/2 an hour before going out in sun,it must be applied .

    Hi,

    I have been in U.S for a while but do not use sunscreen regularly except when we go for picnic the whole day or to the beach etc. I know that ameircans put sunscreen on their kids regularly now esp in the summer. Since now I have kids I was wondering should I apply sunscreen regularly for them?
    pls. let me know indus mom's...
