Hello everybody, I am not going for vacation so thinking of engaging my elder DD(6 Yrs) in summer camp.Notice has came from her school(DPS) for summer camp which is conducted by ICC and also BPS school is conducting summer camp. I want to know whether BPS school takes kids from other schools also or only kids studying in BPS. Reviews and opinions on both summer camps are welcomed which will be helpful me to choose the camp. Thankyou P.S.---Bhuvinidhi/Praseeda are you going for vacations??If not what are your plans to keep kids engaged.

Hi manisha and hema, I am Valli, new to IL, living in qatar for past 5 years. My daughters are studying in BPS. they went for summercamp last year in BPS. its really waste of money. they are not allowing kids to play, all indoor games only. Better try Kalachetra. They are also conducting summer camp. Worth paying.

Hi Manisha, My kid is also studying in BPS in IInd std. This yr. v r going to India for vacation. Last yr. i had put my kid in summer camp. They taught many crafts, drawings and allowed the kids to play indoor games. They teach to dance for a song (hindi song) in a group and on the last day of summer camp they conduct a function in which they invite the parents for the function. You can see ur child's dance performance. I won't recommend for the summer camp unless ur kids don't have any other option to spend their time. If there are children in your locality with whom they can play then u need not send them for summer camp. Only if u feel that ur kids will get too bored sitting at home then u may probably send them for the camp. Laxmi

Hi valli, My son roshan is also studying in bps,class-1,'p' section.According to my view,in bps summer camp is worth for the money.They are teaching craft works,drawing,painting,aerobics,yoga,indoor games like chess,carrom etc.We can't ask management for outdoor games,because the temperature was really very high.If they play outdoor games,kids may dehydrate and bps is also providing transportation.I dont know about other schools,whether they are providing or not.
Hello Valli, Welcome to IL. Your kid went to summer camp organised by ICC or by BPS??Or organized by ICC and conducted in BPS? This time venue of camp conducted by ICC is DMIS school,which i think is best school in Doha.They are saying that they will take kids for field visits also.So let see.... Will check kalashektra also.
