    Hi all,

    I am thinking of going somewhere for the forthcoming long weekend with my family. But we dont want to go far from atlanta. We have already been to florida and water-rafting in tennessee. So friends plz suggest some places nearby atlanta whr we can spend a day or two .. :idea

    You can go to Gatlinburg, Asheville, Charleston, Savannah, Helen etc.

    Helen can be a day journey...Savannah & Charleston have beaches...Asheville is small but beautiful and has the Biltmore estate and vineyards to look at and visit...
