Stomach Infection

poor little baby and mommy. I was so hoping the LO will fight it off without any meds and Vidya was doing sooo well with keeping the LO hydrated. Hugs for you two. Tks Deepa for the latest on Shibu.

take care!! sometimes the virus or bug comes back before even the first set of infection is cured. she'll be alright soon.

Spoke to Vidyaa around 8pm, baby didnt sleep inspite of the meds, still her loose stools are continuing, but baby's urine counts and color are +ve after IV. They are gonna wait and watch. Vidyaa's family didnt sleep for the past 4days, they must be sooo much stressed and exhausted. Hoping things would be better for them.

Hey gals, how is the baby doing? any updates as yet, hope she gets well soon.

 

Update from Vidyaa:
Baby is a lot better from today morn, no loose stools, she has started to take nibbles of solids. Discharging from hospital. Shibu has to be on meds for another 4-5 days. Vidyaa sounded relieved, but was damn tired! Yayy for Shibu!

 

I had been a silent reader...Though i haven't conversed with vidya was really worried after reading this thread..Even in the weekend i tried logging-in for knowing the status.Thank god things are good.Me more relieved than anyone ..Touchwood.
