    Desi Golas - nothing but crushed ice in myriad colours!!

    Crush ice & mixwith equal volume of soda water till frozen.

    Take out, break into chunks & crush in mixie.

    Form balls, using both palms.

    Pour different syrups over them.

    First:

    Caramelsyrup + condensed milk + chopped chocolate

    Second:

    Pineapple crush + black currant crush + walnuts

    Third:

    Kiwi crush + strawberry crush + cashews. + chocolate chunks

    Serve directy from the freezer.

    Strawberry milk shake - delightfully delicious!

    Liquidise together:

    Strawberry ice cream

    Strawbrry crush

    Milk powder

    Crushed ice

    The proportion is your choice.

    Orange Candy - for a children’s party!!

    For ever this is a favourite for kids.

    Made at home, this is very hygienic, too!

    Mix together:

    Orange powder - ½ cup - I used Tang

    Sugar - ½ cup

    Water - ½ cup

    When sugar dissolves completely, add 1 ½ cups of soda water.

    If you have candy moulds, use them.

    I used kulfi moulds.

    Fill them ¾ & freeze.

    When half set, introduce a stick to hold them.

    Once completely set, run the sides under tap for a minute & unmould.

    Mint Lassi - absolutely refreshing!

    Blend together

    Curds

    Chopped pudina leaves

    Sugar

    Black salt

    Jeera powder

    Crushed ice.

    Serve without straining.

    Apricot Yoghurt Smoothy - lovely, tangy taste!!

    Milk - 400 ml

    Cornflour - 1 tbsp

    Sugar - 1 tbsp

    Soft variety apricots - 6

    Reserve 100 ml milk & put the rest to boil.

    Add corn flour & sugar to the reserved amount, add, stirring & cook to sauce consistency.

    In the meanwile chop 2-3 apricots fine & soak in1 tbsp orange juice.

    When milk becomes just lukewarm , add 1 tsp curd to set it along with the juice & soaked fruits.

    When set, refrigerate & serve chilled ganished with extra chopped apricots.

    Dry Fruit Milkshake - make dry fruits, the secret of your energy!!

    Soak 2 each of

    figs

    dates

    apricots

    raisins

    walnuts

    almonds

    in warm water to soften.

    No sugar need be added.

    Just add milk powder & ice water & liquidise.

    Kiwi Mint Smoothy - a filler!!

    Blend together:

    Chooped apple

    Mint leaves ( I used the dried mint leaves)

    Cucumbar - 1, small

    honey - to taste

    Lime juice - 1/2 tsp

    Curds - 1/2 cup

    Kiwi - 1, peeled & copped

    Blend all ingredients except kiwi.

    Then add kiwi pulsate so that tiny pieces will be present.

    Pink Princess - a pretty thirst-quencher!

    Blend together:

    Chopped water melon cubes (deseeded)

    Milk powder

    Chilled water

    Little sugar

    Do not strain.

    ProCal Smoothy - full of protein & calcium!

    Blend to gether:

    Raw, chopped spinach - 1 cup

    Banana - 1, medium

    Milk - 3/4 cup (use soya milk, if you prefer)

    Honey - 2 tsp

    Crushed ice.

    Kiwi Lassi - tangy, tangy.

    Blend together:

    Thick cyrds - 3/4 cup

    Orange jice - 1/2 cup

    Powdered sugar - 2 tbsp or to taste.

    Then add 1 chopped kiwi & blend lightly.

    Serve with crushed ice.
