    [font=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Steamed fish

    8 fish fillets
    1 inch piece ginger (julienne)
    6-8 cloves garlic (crushed)
    2-3 green chillies (deseeded and chopped)
    Salt to taste
    2 tbsp lemon juice
    2-3 lemon roundels
    ¼ small bunch fresh coriander leaves

    Cut the fish fillets into big chunks. Place the fish pieces in a clay pot. Add ginger, garlic, green chillies and salt. Add lemon juice and mix. Add lemon roundels and half a cup of water. Put the lid on and bring it to a boil, reduce the heat and cook for about four minutes. Chop coriander leaves along with their stems and add to the boiling fish. Cover once again and cook for one minute. Serve hot.

    Note: If readymade fillets are not available, take four large sized pomfrets and fillet them.

    Health note: In diabetes we have to select good fat over bad fat. Fish provides polyunsaturated fatty acids. If you already have diabetes, eating fish can help protect you against heart diseases.
