Springfield, Illinois And Fort Collins, Colorado

Dear friends,

My husband has job offers from Springfield Illinois and Fort Collins, Colorado. We are thinking about the pros and cons in both places.
I would like to know which is a better place for a typical South Indian family.
Just wondering about the Climate, good schools, Indian community, Cost of living, Apartment rents etc...
