A pause is the time one gives himself to measure his words for a greater effect or to grope for suitable words to conceal his emotions. A pause is very effective in romantic overtures but in more mundane circumstances , it could be irritating and even disastrous.
Vajpayee's pauses are legendary nah?

Hi sri,

I was just reading the replies, appuram...? is also very powerful.. Then i am told i have a way with saying ok...and my husband says the way i say ok.:icon_frown:..gives him a indication whether i am really serious about talking to the person, whether i am going to pull his leg..or i am really impressed..never thought about it too much....

A pause can bring a conversation live or kill it also..

So, appuram and OK are all powerful words to convey our views very effectively. By just a small variation in the way we pronouce these words, how many things we can convey!
But then considering that the whole world of music spins around the seven swaras, this is nothing amazing.

yes as it goes on ur hubby keeps saying sumthing interesting to him and u keep repeating the process so so so.....he really will wonder wht next to say..then stop boring u for a while again u start of with the so....he says its time to go to bed honeyy..am sleepy and finally yes! u have dun it and pulled ur self away form the boring conversation....so has gud effects toooo!
