2 kudamilagai/simla mirch 2 big tomatoes 1 cup pudina/mint 1 tea spoon red chilli powder 1/2 tea spoon turmeric powder 1/4 tea spoon methi powder (dry fry) 1/2 tea spoon jeera powder (dry fry) 1/2 tea spoon daniya powder (dry fry) 1/3 tea spoon pepper powder 2 tea spoon urad dal(ullutam paruppu in tamil) 1/4 tea spoon of mustard seeds or jeera 2 teaspoon of oil Method Put the kadai on stove and heat the oil, put the 1/4 tea spoon of mustard seeds/jeera it it add the urad dal and fry, then add all the powder and mix for 1/2 minute. Now add the cut simla mirch(kudamilagai) and fry for 2 minutes, now add cut tomatoes and fry till done. Add Salt, switch off the stove and add cleaned mint(pudina) leaves. Mix well. Allow it to cool for 10 minutes. Grind it coarse(Rava consistency) and sever it with hot dosa/chappati/puri or mix it with rice and enjoy a healthy easy to make side dish.
