DH bought an extra laundry basket one Evening on way back from work. (God knows why! He had no business in my laundry department ever!:spin)

I did not feel the need for it so was asking him to return it for quite sometime. He went on and on about it's convenience, finally I gave in and said, "Ok let me keep it" :bowdown

The next day DS saw a neighbor using a similar basket.
His dad said, "Everybody likes that model except your mom"
    DS exclaimed,
"I know why.. If everyone uses the same kind, how to identify hers?!"
    My DS siding me?!! :cool2:

DH said, "Loosungala (silly you both!), What a lame excuse! Can't you just write your name on the basket?" :biglaugh

I was eager to see which shining armor DS would wear this time to defend his sweet mommy. :) For the records, I was still amazed at DS supporting me!! (rarest of the rare moments)

DS said, "Appa, I said, 'what Amma was thinking'. It was not my thinking.
And Amma, I agree with Appa! You are being silly! Why can't you just write your name there? DUH!"

And when did I say that was my concern?! or where exactly in the above did I even open my mouth?! And they call me 'silly'?!:bang

Nice post:thumbsup! I'm happy that I'm giving the first feedback!!! So.... your son always supports his dad????:biglaugh
At my home too, it happens, my dad sometimes (no many times and only recently he has minimized), buy unnecessary costly things and comes home and we wonder what we should do with that !:hide:

I have become a fan of ur son's smart replies:bowdown:bowdown..So

Just wanted to add something from my side.My SIL in India has started driving car and she is a bit scared to drive. But her kids said 'Mom you are great, good job' and the next moment, 'Dad, enough of Mom's driving, now you learn to drive'.Very tactic way to say that they are bored of their Mom's slowwww driving.:rotfl:rotfl
