    Hello,

My husband and I are planning a trip to Seattle for a couple of days in October. Any recommendations for sightseeing there? what are the important places we should cover?

    thanks

    Hi there,

Thanks - that was useful info. Btw, where is lake forest? I have never heard the name of this city before.

    Hi Mythraeyi,

My American colleagues say in Seattle there is a famous space eye needle which is worth visiting. From there you can watch for several miles around it seems. From the bay a ferry can take you to nearby island in an hour's time. For transportation there is mono rail and many sight-seeing buses also. You can just cross and go to Canada if you have visa. The nearby city is Vancouver it seems. My nephew is taking his family from San Jose to Seattle this weekend and he also told me about all these. Wish you a happy time at Seattle.

    Regards,

    TDU

    Hello TDU,

:thankyou2: .The space needle seems to be the most popular attraction in Seattle so that is definitely on our agenda, along with some museums and other tourist attractions. no time for Canada though.
