should I go or not ?

Hello friends,

Need advice from you. My son is participating in a skit as a part of hindu cultural programs in temple auditorium on coming sunday, The auditorium is downstairs. My question is I may get my periods during that time, since it is first time he is participating in a nice "krishna leelalu" skit , I dont want to miss it, at the same since it is temple, I having feeling I should not go. The auditorium is down stairs and has two entrances, one from inside temple and one from outside temple with seperate door, can I enter the temple premesis and enter directly to auditorium without entering temple if I really get my monthly time that time.

I am in dilemma and confused now

Hey Sujatha,
Your kid is performing.. why would you want to miss that.
If your mind and heart is pure then god will surely understand.
Dont worry about it.

We are children of almighty, even if we do mistakes , almighty will definitely forgive us. and since u have a backdoor use that and have a fun time.

Go to the temple to watch your son's play. We have all these rituals because of the hygiene. We did not have tampons etc those days. we lived in a joint family and did not get rest. These are few reasons for not letting you go to the temple, puja and wedding. Things have changed. So dont feel bad going to the temple.

May be you can just postpone your periods for a day.

Thank you all for your advices. I am in USA, is there anything I can try to postpone my periods.

Sujatha,

Please dont use any pills to push your periods. its manipulating the body's cycle and definitely not good.
whats the big deal.
my mom used to do this a lot and now during menopause she has lots of problems.
I personally recommend not taking this option.
if you have a pooja or ceremony that you have to attend then it is understood. This performance is not in front of the god so why do you worry.

I guess there will not be any major harm in postponing it once by using pills . I've done it couple of times in India without any problems..Sorry I do not know the pill names availble in USA..
