    Beautiful drawings! Your daughter is definitely very talented! Even if she is not keen on classes .. I think you're doing all the right things to encourage her and keep her interest alive :2thumbsup:

    Hi honeybee,

    Today i talk a lot...experience and circumstances have made me learn the hard way that i have to talk...but there was a time i have to be paid to talk.and i am too choosy about my friends......i am a silent observer...nothing goes out of my view....she is the same as me in certain aspects....that is what makes me scared maybe as she grows..she will learn..or it is her age..let me wait and see.....

    Hi Shanthi,

    Your daughter is doing a fantastic job.

    With a mother like you who has been a strong pillar in the family i think your kids will go a long way following your footsteps.

    Let your daughter read this thread and all all the posts here might boost her morale in taking up drawing too.

    She seems to be an all rounder and am sure will be a perfectionist in all that she does.

    I would also ask you to encourage your son, he may turn out to be a good cartoonist (another RK laxman in the offing:2thumbsup: )

    Cartoons and painting/sketches are the best way to pass a message. Cartoon also helps in sending across a message with a touch of humour.

    Wish your kids all the very best in whatever they do.

    Thanks for your wishes...and also for the complements.. yes we do encourage our son also..but he will not like to do anything that his sister excel's in...because both of them are of the same height...people tend to compare...and they forget he is smaller....so now we have stopped interfering...we want them to feel comfortable in whatever they do...

    Will defintely show her this thread....

    Hey - I am the equivalent of a CA (CPA in the US) - so, you cannot go wrong there - great profession to be in!! Even if your daughter is not interested in taking classes, keep her interest alive. When my daughter was young, I put her in piano classes - sometimes, it was not something she wanted to do. But as she grew older, she in fact told me "mom, I am glad you forced me to go to piano"!! So, giving them an extra nudge is ok.
