September 2014 Due Date Club

    Hello friends, Sorry i am very late to this club.. Iam 26 weeks pregnant with fraternal twins conceived through fertility treatment due on Sep. Last week i had a cerclage and now in bed rest.. I too experiencing all kinds of pregnancy issues.. especially my hb is only 8.. I took iron shots, iron supplements, also taking iron rich foods.. My problem is Iam worrying unnecessarily about complications.. my mind is fully filled with negative thoughts.. even im afraid to walk as my belly is really heavy.. advice me friends..:hide:

    @ cytosine... Try to relax as much as you can as our mental health is directly effecting the physical wee-being. In pregnancy, both Mother and baby's. Worrying won't help you much.

    Try to divert your mind by pursuing nay hobby or whatever relaxes you.. reading / listening to music / knitting/ playing any online game or whatever else you like. Try to be surrounded by positive people and invite friends who fill you with positive thoughts.

    Also, try not to think about pregnancy 24/7. Fill your mind with other good thoughts and this difficult time would just fly off :)

    Welcome to the club. :)

    Don't worry too much. It will be alright. Negative thoughts won't be good to your babies. Believe that all is going well and you can handle it! Many troubles can be handled well through out mental strength.
    I had Cerclage and in bed rest as well. You can do minimal activities if your health is good.
    For HB, use iron supplements along with Vit C base foods. That will improvise the absorption rare of iron. You can try meat if you are a non vegan. Don't add calcium foods like milk along with iron supplements. Nothing will be of use! Hope your hb levels will improve soon. With pregnancy hb levels are supposed to reduce. You twins so, the effect will be double! Take a good care of you!

    You have crossed 18W. You can manage the rest as well! Be confident! All the best!

    Welcome to our gropu and congrats for your pregnancy that too twins.
    As vasu advised dont have negative thoughts keep diverting your mind by watching movies hearing songs etc. u have crossed halfway still only few weeks to go . so be happy and think positive all the best for safe pregnancy

    May be you can increase egg intake to daily. At least egg white. Its rich in protein and it will help you a lot. Include more veg & fruits too.

    Just crossed 28th week. Due date is 17th.

    Please share your tips for the week. i have started feeling so wornout and having bad back pains

    Hi...How are you Guys?? 27 weeks over..in Third trimester now...
    In GTT I got mild sugar...but normal sugar test was taken in another hospital where I gonna undergo my delivery...There it came as normal..God knows what!
    HB is 9.2 now..so doctor suggested on trips five days once for 10 doses...
    severe back pain..daily applying ginger oil and taking hot waterbath at night..
    anyidea when is the next scan? My last scan was around 22 week.

    And my doc dint suggest me anything extra...should we start taking protien powder and omega 3?

    And kindly let me know what iron supplements you are taking...I am taking ferrium CA.

    Hi all,

    How u guys r doing? I m in my 31 week, but still my bump is not that big . Many people cant even think that I m due in September. Though I m tall, but still... What about ur bump sizes?

    Also how often u feel ur baby kicking. Are they strong?

    Dont worry about bump size. Baby should be healthy and everything should be fine thats is important i am on 30th week now i am feeling kicks but not so strong and going for check up again . keep eye on babys kicks eat healthy and enjoy ur pregnancy
