Sending gifts to India from US?

    Hi All,

    My sister-in-law is pregnant, her due date is next year. We want to send some gifts to her. We live in USA and she is in India.

    Any one have ever ordered any gifts online in USA and shipped to India address. As many know in usa, there will be online deals and some websites allow promo code for savings.

    Please share ur experience.....

    Yes you can use a US credit card for purchasing but if the site is based in india sometimes you might encounter some foreign transaction charges unless you are using capital one or a card with no foreign transaction charges.

    Also if you are thinking Jewellery Totaram Papalal is good. I have send jewellery to chennai through them and it reached on time and is good quality.

    Chennai plaza is good for sending Sarees. I have used it many many times.

    if you want to send any gift to India from USA then their are so many online shopping card available on internet ,they providing discount rate with shipping charge ,it's great thing to go online and send your gift to your sister in law.
