    Hi Girls,

Hope u are all doing fine and ,as moms, are very very busy now that the exam season is here.

Has anyone of u (or ur friends) opted for Sanskrit as a second language(CBSE course) for ur kids? I would like to know the experience and opinions of parents whose kids had/have Sanskrit as a subject for their X board exams. How's the paper and how easy/difficult is it to prepare for it? Is it a better choice over Hindi ?

Considering that I've studied Hindi till my Xth and Sanskrit till my VIIIth standard, do u think I wud be able to guide my son for Xth Sanskrit?

Basically , I want to know the merits /demerits of choosing Sanskrit over Hindi as a second language. What factors did u all consider for making this choice?

    Appreciate any Input/opinion/suggestion/experience.:)

    Thanks.

    Sonalika

    Hi,

in my opinion Sanskrit is a better option. One can easily score in it. Even with only a knowledge of Hindi you can help your child. Together with Sanskrit and Golden guide were very hepful. With these and good teaching in school helped my daughter a 100 in Sanskrit
