Decorations (contd). We made a number 2 with his pictures from second year, mostly the things that he did for the first time. Balloons and party hats kept the kids entertained for a long time. I made signs for food with train engine and also used some of his toy trains for decoration (you can see one in the 3rd pic, another one is a big train that I used to hold animal crackers, goldfish and cheese bites. Goody bags: That was my most time consuming DIY but the kids were so thrilled to get the bags and got to write their names on them. I color coded the tissue paper to know which one were for the older kids (over 5) and which one for the younger ones.
