Since there was some problem in my system i was not able to give much info u asked last time. From third school uniform. Put ssmelacad in google and search u can get their website .I admitted my daughter in prekg .Fees is 40000 per annum including transport. 10000 -caution deposit also i paid.For higher classes i have no idea about fees. Till +2food is provided. Extra curricular activities,yoga,swimming are taught. They wont commercialise their activities so there will be no much publicity about them even though they r doing a good work. Very strict school and they expect good cooperation from parents. For this acadamic yr admissions would have been closed.

Hi Friend,
The term fees for III std is 9000 for first and the for 2nd , 3rd ,4th it is 7500. Transportation charges are of 2 types. One for New colony 1900 and for other places 2200.
It is a good, strict school and I have put up my son in II std this year after returning from US. Closely observing the school and will let you know more in days to come.

hi i have put my daughter in 3rd grade in this school. so far nice school. my daughter likes the school.

 

CBSE / Metric schools in and around Medavakkam Chennai

We are in Medavakkam rightnow and my 2 sons are going to DAV Velachery. For some reasons we are looking for alternate schools in and around Medavakkam esp CBSE & Metric.

Could anyone of ILs please suggest some schools from their experiance?

Welcome to il.

Would like to know the reason why you are opting out of DAV velachery, as I have already had a few bad review of the school. if it nothing personal it will definitely help other mom's.

Though i have no personal experience. you have zion matriculation nearer to selaiyur.

bharathi vidyalaya (cbse) nearer to perumbakkam.

boaz in gowrivakkam should be accessible, just as alpha matriculation in the same vicnity.

PSSB millenium in OMR road. Am in Jeyachandran nagar near to medavakam. the school is 10kms from medavakam.

I am posting this for the benefit of all parents who wish to admit their wards in Sundaravalli School in JM1 - The classes would happen in Perungulathur and not in chrompet - This is applicable from JM1 to SM3 . Only from class 3 does it happen from Chrompet . This is applicable from June 2010 onwards . The perungulathur campus is 13 kms away from the existing Sundaravalli Chrompet school - I feel it is unwise to make the small children travel so far . Please be cautious in this aspect .
