I want to send a poem on SCHOOL. Hope everyone will like it

    Morning School they say
    A place where we stay
    From nine thirty in themorning
    Till four in theevening

At 9.25 everyday strikes the bell
And at 9.30 strikes the 2nd bell
Still the girls go on talking
And Headmistress complains about the way of respecting

    The assembly begins and ends
    And then the music sounds
The girls march to their classes to study
Left, right, left, right and be ready

Morning School is always a pleasure
For girls can have sometimes leisure
    Morningstudy and evening play
That is the wayto be happy and gay

    Dear Manju

    Thanks for ur appreciation.
I am now 64 but still school days were the best.

Thought it is very late to say now

School days are over at last
with their laughter and fear of the past
Best friendship made will last forever
Forged links that none can sever

Hello ma'am, a very pleasant evening to you!

Those lingering memories can never go out of sight! :) They will continue to remain the best part of anyone's life. Such is the strength of childhood memories!

First started in auto-rikshaw, then moved in auto, then tightly clenched on to my mom's back behind her in her first two wheeler (TVS), then i was mature enough to go to school by cycle myself:) Reciting all the rhymes and school lessons at my mom's back, still those days remind me of how studious i was.

Even now my mom reminds me of how i did my homeworks in kindergarten; she used to hold on to my hand and write the same, myself busy in watching TV:clap.

Now in my final year of college, those memories leave a tear that needs to be wiped off in due course of time. After all, time and tide wait for none!

    Regards

    Dear Iyerviji,
    Who would forget those days!
Nicely protrayed those in your own words!
Enjoyed and went back down the memory lane!
