Scared about Febrile seizures for my 16 months baby

yesterday, my son had fever.. it was soo sudden.. whole day he was very normal.. evening at 7... he was having a little rise in temperature.. he lost appetite at night.. and he was too drowsy.. so, i made him sleep.. at 2 in the morning, he had seizures for the first time... i am feeling very scared... i could get some hopes only after checking out online that this is very common in kids of this age.. but.. why.. i don get any correct answers..

i want to see a good neurologist who can help me..

we are very new to chennai.. and, couldn find a convincing pediatrician too...

pls friends.. help me.. we are in chrompet.. can anyone tel me a gud pediatric neurologist ???? am waiting for the reply.. wanna meet him tomrow..

sorry for being very late...

my LO had one more seizure the following day.. so, he was admitted at Neolife children's special hospital at nanganallur...
Mr. Arun attended us.. he was very kind to explain us the situation..
i was happy with their treatment.
we were there for 3 days. no fever again. jus running nose til now.. anyway.. got to take care of him very well.
they even told us how to prevent it again. i.e, to take care that my LO doesn't get very high fever again.

Ask your doctor about meftal syrup. I was asked to alternate it with crocin syrup as dd's fever was high and never came down. If your doctor says that it is okay, keep it handy.
