    Kids plan in India for education and marriage

    Hi everyone,

    My DD is 5 months old. We want to start investing for her education and marriage purpose. Now-a-days education costs much. It would be really high after 20 years. Suggest me any kids plan available in India for meeting these purposes.

    Plan for Child Education

    Dear IL's,

    My DS is 10 months old...I want start some savings for his future requirements..Can u suggest some policies/ or plans.?

    Also, i just finished with one SIP of SBI magnum Tax Gain...I want to start one more SIP...Any suggestions...I can even invest in non tax saving funds...

    Hi Friends,

    My DS is 4 months old, I want to invest for his Education.

    At present I started 3 SIP's Rs.1000 monthly each in HDFC Top 200 Fund, Sundaram Paribas Select Midcap Fund & Tata Equity Opportunities Fund. Also I have my PPF account active wherein I plan to invest Rs.70000 yearly. I do not wish to take any insurance for my son right now. But I happened to read about LIC's Jeevan Saral policy. Anyone invested in this policy? Need to know if its similar to RD's.
