Hi All, It has been 6 years i have been in this IT field. I want to pursue teaching as a fulltime career option in the near Future. A lil background abt me. I am a post Graduate in mathematics from a very prestigious Institute and have passion towards teaching. I can handle Maths from Middle school and above. Can you guys let me know what would be the starting salary in reputed schools for teaching (Middle school and above in Maths) TIA
Hi Brahan, The salary varies from school to school. Some give importance to the number of years of experience in addition to the qualification while deciding the salary. If it is a reasonably established school, the starting salary will be anywhere between 5-10k in Bangalore. If you can prove that you are a good teacher, then they will give you good hikes.
