Saffron is primarily used for women's health.
Menstruation: Saffron helps to induce menses and can help to relieve pain associated with monthly periods. It also helps to reduce chrnoic problems with bleeding of the uterus.
Digestive:Saffron is a remedy for indigestion as well as colic.

So yet again the products which appear having no or less value have been found to come in handy in serious situations. That the natural remedies are a far better option has been learned by me for many ages now but its so hard to convince the advocates of conventional medicines. It seems they can never expect the natural products to offer any remedy as they are not passed under any clinical trials. But its the end result that counts so if saffron helps whats so bad about it?
