Mushroom Curry hi This is one of my favourite mushroom curry..hope everybody will like it.. Ingredients 1.Mushrooms - 500 gms 2.Pearl Onions(small onions) - 12-15 nos 3.Red Chilly(dry) - 6nos 4.Oil for frying 5.salt to taste How to Cook: 1.Make a fine paste of pearl onions and dry red chilly. 2. mix the paste well with mushrooms and keep it aside for half an hour. 3.Heat oil in a pan and add chopped onions(small onions) and fry till it gets brown in colour. 4.Add mushrooms amd cook well when it is done. 5.Also check salt for taste
Hello Igo, To day I saw your enquiry about "kurma". Here I am posting my recipe try this. Take 2 cups(total) Potato, Turnip, Cauliflower, Peas, Beans, Chow chow etc., Cut and cook all of them. Grind Ginger, garlic, Coriander seeds, 10 green chilies and 1 cup grated coconut. Put a pan and pour some ghee. fry Cinnamon, Cardamom, clove and onion. Put the grind masala and fry. Then add cooked vegetables and mix well. Let it boil for a while. At this time you can add 1/2 cup coconut milk in the kuruma. Add salt. (Tomato is optional) Add some coriander leaves and serve with chapatti or puri.
Another one for you Igo, Here in Madras , in some hotels they give Potato curry, slightly gravy for puri..I am giving that also try this too. 2oo gms Cooked, peeled and mashed potatoes. 100 gms chopped onions 10 Green chilly(chopped) 2 inch ginger(chopped) To make seasoning: 1 sp mustard seeds 1 sp udad dal 1 sp channa dal 1/4 sp turmeric powder Oil for seasoning Salt to taste coriander leaves Method: In a pan pour oil and make seasoning with mustard seeds, udad dal, channa dal and turmeric powder. Add chopped green chilly and chopped ginger. Add chopped onions and mashed potatoes, mix well. Add 1 cup water and salt. Alow it to boil. Remove it from the fire while it is in the gravy consistency. Serve with puri/chappati.
