    As per the tradition, wet rice kolams are very auspicious. They are done normally for festive occasions. My mom had the tradition of putting it for Friday Lakshmi Pooja. Having spine problem, I make wet rice kolams every week as it remains undisturbed. I can't bend and make kolams everyday.
    As for the procedure, soak normal white rice for 2-hrs and grind to a thick smooth paste in mixie.
