Hey Aishu22, Looks you had a nice trip. this is a route we usually go every year almost once. our kuladeivam is in a village near aaduthurai. And all the places look familiar. the swamimalai photo?? really brought back great memories for me.

Hi You can actually go by a train which starts from Tambaram to Mayavaram.. Its destined to Mayavaram so you can get down peacefully.. From there you have got buses or even by pre booked cars or taxis you can reach Thirukadaiyur.. It has got nice boarding hotels like Sadhabishegam, Manivizha (really good), Guru.. You can book accordingly and peacefully have a good darshan of Abiramavalli.. Have a nice trip.. rgds Uma
Hi Aishu, That was a nice description and great photos. I really wonder how I missed this thread. Our kuladeivam is Vaitheeshwaran Koil and Poovanur near Mannargudi. We are planning to go there and to all the Navagraha temples by 15th August as it is a long week end. Krithi, I will contact you and your mom for some more details. Infact I started off with a travelogue about our visit to these places some 10 years back. Will try to complete it and will write about the visit once we go there again. Can you pls enquire your mom about Vellai Vembu Mariamman temple? Infact when we went that time, the driver took us to that place. But when I searched my travelogue it was not there and also my parents too dont remember the place.
