    Can anyone recommend a place in norther VA/MD where I can buy one of these? also recommend a brand if you can.

    I do not live in MD hence do not know any specific shops out there . But I have seen that many Indian electrical shops in my area carriy roti makers.. U could check at such places..

    Btw I am able to make good quality rotis with my Jaipan roti maker ( I got it from India) by following instructions given in the recipes forum in IL..
