    Dear all,

I've got single ( one) side border pattu( silk) saree. I feel it's very grand & me being short & thin...it's not suiting me.
And since I don't have any 'tailoring knowledge', I need to ask u all
can I able to cut single side border in to two sides? Is it possible to do? And I 'm not interested in making/ stitching them in to salwar kameez.
can anyone help me out with this...

    thanks in advance

    hey,

u can actually go to embroidery tailors and ask them to stick a thin border or small embrodiery of flowers etc and make it attractive with kundans here and there.Have a price limit and tell them ur budget!

    cheers,
    vaishu

Store silk away from sunlight and heat, and use a cool iron when pressing.
With just a bit of care, your silk sarees will last for a long time.

Some tips to take care of your silk sarees to make them last forever

    • After buying, remove the saree from its box.
    • Do not leave it in a box or polythene bag for more than 3 days
    • Unfold your silk sarees and change the folding every three months.
    • stitching of saree fall for jacquard and tissue sarees
    Washing Instructions

    • Do not use soap for the first 3 washes. Use only plain water.
    • For sarees, wash the border, pallu and body separately in the beginning.
    • Never beat the garment
    • For subsequent washes, use good quality detergent soap. Clean quickly.
    • Do not bundle or keep wet for a long time.
    • Always wash the saree and other garments separately.
    • Do not wash it along with inferior materials or bright colours.
    • Use medium iron only
