Return Gift Ideas For B'day

    Hi everyone

    I have my LO 's 2nd birthday and planning birthday party. Do not have lot of time in hand and we did not do any preps yet. 2 months before, I had so many ideas.. all gone now.

    So now I am nervous.
    Now, give me ideas what should be return gifts for kids , price range, total price/kid , gift + packaging etc. We went to brithday parties and get tiny soft toys from everywhere and do not want to repeat /return same. My LO has so many that she they are everywhere like bugs invested in house. so I assume same for others.

    Please give ideas. If I do not want anything else, I will get soft toys too, but where to buy for gifting. Btw, I am in US so need ideas per US's shops/availability/price?

    I looked online pencil boxes we get here here are not as cute as in India I think.

    I am going to give some coloring books/flash cards but they need to be clubbed with other gifts I think.

    For My DS 1st birthday i created groups based on kids gender & age and bought gifts accordingly mostly from amazon.com and Kids Birthday Party Supplies & Kids Party Ideas at Birthday in a Box - Birthday In A Box.
    Since it was first birthday I had $10 each as budget & gave gifts to every one.

    Each bag had, gift & few assorted chocolates, cookies & crackers.
    For infacts, i chose rattling toys,
    For toddler girls i bought pet hand bags,
    For toddler boys cars & busses
    For girls around 5 plus, I bought Disney frozen toy & accessories,
    For other with no kids, i gave them candle stands.

    Really like pet handbags and candle stands idea. But as far I know these are not under 10$. ped handba itself is 14-15$ + packing/giftbags/stuffing ? no?
    I was thinking 10$ /each too but was not sure about adults but now u gave me an idea so I will probably do it.

    You can get nice items in dollar store
    Bubble mixture
    Balloon
    A sand bucket
    For boys you can add a toy cars and for girls you can get cute hair bands or fairy wand kind of stuffs

    Just my 2 cents

    btw, qn

    For siblings from a family, do we gift 1 gift bag or 1 for each. I did 1 mistake I brought big bags thinking some gifts could be large in size now I am confused. I am sorry for such dumb qn I never noticed this things b4 so far thinking to give out individual bag.

    Its good to give 1 for each. They are small kids, they doesn't all these formalities like 1 gift per family etc. What matters to them is my sister/brother & kids got gifts, but i didn't get one....This may upset the kids fun at party.

    Keep some extra gifts so that kids won't feel differentiation.

    I would agree with Previous post.
    each kid getting a gift is better else one with a gift and the other without it will make the kid feel bad.
    Also since i am in India i bought at Babyoye physical store.
    I gifted baby bowls which have rings with diff color and texture suitable for 1 year olds.You could get similar ones in amazon too.
    For my sons second Bday as per age i bought diff return gifts.
    9-12 years-stationary with different shapes like burger shaped eraser.also cartoon keychains.
    for 2-9 years magic coloring book, which changes color when you color it with the pen given.
    crayon or sketch boxes.(minion shaped ones)
    you can also gift balloon modelling kits too.
