Reservations and all that Nonsense

Another good blog of yours Kamalji.

I am sure a majority of the Indians will not be in favour of the reservations. But since this is a political gimmick one is helpless.

But to make this more effective the govt can add a few ifs & buts to it like yes we have a certain % of reservations for a community but provided they get x% of marks and above. If not the rest of the seats will go to other deserving merit holders.

There are ways and means to go about it only someone needs to put it effectively.

Yes, we have seen that there is lot of opportunities in the private sector with better pay and better job satisfaction and favourable working environment. More and more people are opting out of govt jobs.

As you have rightly pointed out that no job is small we see so many rags to riches stories around us. It is pure dedication of the person & some fate which favours this to happen.

Like west if we accept that no job is menial then i am sure we can go places and those who have come above in this manner need to lend a helping hand to others to come up to this stage.

sincere business if sincere can be carried on in any religion it doesnt require to be a sindhi to do business............there are so many brahmins who maintain sulabh public lavatories for the public for tht matter....and so many brahmins who have taken up so many other professions..major of all the software ceos are brahmins and are doing quiet well .....u cant generalise a community for wh they are and for wht they are not...every religion and community has its own genuinity....coming to quoto it is just a gimmick played by political parties...as well the brahmin community.....

 

It's Not Sad Of Them If Tht Were Not Done By Few People Like Them Then The Whole City Will Be Under Drain...take Alway The Postive Attitutde Of The Work..

 

To Add On It Was An Argument For Ur Statement Tht Sindhis Will Take Up Any Job Whtever Selling Junk Stuff Also Tht Wud Not Mind...but Brahmins Are Doing Better Job Sponsoring The Cleaning..i Think Tht Wud Be Better Than Selling Junk..............

Nice article.

Politicians have used the reservation to split the people community and caste wise.

Dr Ambedkar has said reservation should be discontinued after 15 years but politicians are continuing with this to further their vote bank.

 

I just happened to read this old blog, Kamalji. This is also a lesson to people who have been affected by the reservation. If they start their own venture, however small, they can come up in life.
